As every year, the Conference included all topics of modern Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and aimed at highlighting the research efforts of Greek scientists active in various fields of Life Sciences, in Greece and abroad, thus contributing to exchange of knowledge, interaction, and collaboration between them. Thematic sections of the Conference included Functional Genomics and Proteomics, Cellular Communication and Signaling, Cellular Organization and Function, Development and Differentiation, Cellular Aging, Molecular and Cellular Basis of Diseases, Structure and Function of Macromolecules, Regulation of Gene Expression & Epigenetics, Stem Cells, Tissue Remodeling and Regeneration, DNA Damage and Repair, RNA Biology, Plant and Microorganism Biotechnology, Systems Biology-Bioinformatics, and Chemical Biology.<\/p>\n
